The Graduate School of North American Studies (GSNAS) at Freie Universität Berlin is inviting applications to:

  • 2 four-year DAAD GSSP grants (1,300 EUR per month plus health in­surance) for the academic years 2025-29 (starting date: October 1, 2025)
  • 2 one-year doctoral grants (1,450 EUR per month) for the academic year 2025-26 (starting date: October 1, 2025)

in Cultural Studies, History, Literary Studies, Economics, Political Science or Sociology. Only doctoral projects related to the field of North American Studies can be considered. Applicants will be able to submit their applica­tions via our online platform until January 31, 2025 (deadline).
