književnost
Naziv kolegija:
Moderna anglofona ženska književnost
Jezik:
engleski
Trajanje:
1 semestar
Status:
izborni/unutarnja izbornost/
Oblik nastave:
1 sat predavanja i 2 sata seminara tjedno
Uvjeti:
upisan 4/6. semestar, položen uvod
Ispit:
Kontinuirano praćenje. Tijekom seminara studenti/ce trebaju izraditi jedan
seminarski rad te ga prezentirati na satu. Rad u seminaru, seminarski rad te dva
kolokvija konstitutivni su dio završne ocjene.
Sadržaj:
Seminar polazi od propitivanja tradicionalne reprezentacije ženskosti (F.S.
Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby) zatim analizira pomake u načinu
reprezentacije žene i uspostavljanju ženskoga očišta u djelima V. Woolf, Sylvie
Plath te Adrienne Rich. U pripovijetkama D. Lessing, F. Weldon, A.S. Byatt i A.
Carter iščitavamo strategije subverzije kanonizirane vizualizacije i
konceptualizacije ženskosti. Tekstovi Gwendolyn Brooks i Zore Neale Hurston
oprimjeruju potrebu da se govori o feminizmima, radije nego o feminizmu. U
završnom dijelu propituje se način na koji kultura oblikuje ideju ženskosti.
Temeljem definicija rodnosti J. Lacana i J. Butler analizirat ćemo mehanizme
pomoću koji se M. Monroe ustoličuje u ikonu ženskosti. U završnom dijelu
propitat ćemo prezentaciju žene u suvremenoj kulturnoj produkciji na primjeru
filmskih verzija Dnevnika Bridget Jones i Đavo nosi Pradu.
Cilj:
Svrha kolegija je
kulturalno i historiografsko promišljanje rodnih odnosa. Kolegij na taj način
osposobljava polaznice/ke za bolje razumijevanje kulture te ih osvještava za
problematiku rodnih odnosa i kulturološku semiozu.
