________________________________________________________________________________________________________

On je također izvor ponosa  – „pravi sjever, jak i slobodan“ – i, u eri klimatskih promjena, sve veći izazov.

– sjever i njegovi prikazi: stvaran i zamišljen teritorij
– sjever u kanadskoj književnosti:  nordicitet i njegove inačice
– umjetnička djela i književnost Prvih nacija
– simboličan sjever u kanadskoj kulturi: hokej, zimski karneval, kanui
– žive na sjeveru: aboridžinske zajednice, život i opstanak tradicionalnih kultura, demografija i razvoj lokalnih zajednica, društveni problemi
– sjever i jug: Kanada kao američki „sjever“, južna Kanada i njezin „sjever“
– donošenje političkih odluka na sjeveru: uloge federalne, provincijske , teritorijalne i lokalne vlasti
– sjever i ekonomska pitanja: eksploatacija resursa, istraživanje plina i nafte, turizam
– sjever i međunarodna zajednica: obrana kanadskog suvereniteta, Arktičko vijeće
