Archiving Master’s Theses in the Digital Repository of the Faculty

Graduate Programme of the Department of English

Pursuant to Master’s Thesis Resolution, all master’s theses defended at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, are archived in electronic form at the Library.

New procedure for uploading MA theses to the Faculty’s digital repository ODRAZ
(Information for non-Croatian speaking graduate students of the Department of English)

Pursuant to the Faculty’s decision on the online viva procedure as of April 2020, students are obliged to upload their MA thesis to the Faculty’s open access repository ODRAZ at https://repozitorij.ffzg.unizg.hr/

Pursuant to the new procedure it is no longer necessary to complete the Repository Statement and submit it to the Library.

Pursuant to the stated Faculty’s decision as of April 2020 (https://web2020.ffzg.unizg.hr/blog/2020/04/01/online-obrane-diplomskih-radova-upute-za-studente/), students have to upload their MA theses in PDF/A format (with accompanying files) to the Faculty’s open access repository  ODRAZ (https://repozitorij.ffzg.unizg.hr/) within a week from the viva procedure in order to complete the graduation paperwork. Three (3) working days after the uploading, the MA thesis will be published online and available (visible) in the Repository. Then students will be able to print out or save the viva record in PDF format as the proof of having their work deposited in the Repository.

While ODRAZ interface is available in English, all guidelines are currently available only in Croatian.
All non-Croatian speaking students who have completed the viva procedure at the Department of English can contact the Department librarian Mila Marsic at mmarsic@ffzg.hr for further instructions about ODRAZ.
