Iva Polak, izv. prof.<br \/>\n<strong>ECTS-bodovi:<\/strong> 6<strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><strong>Jezik: <\/strong>engleski<br \/>\n<strong>Trajanje: <\/strong>4. ili 6. semestar<br \/>\n<strong>Status: <\/strong>izborni kolegij<br \/>\n<strong>Oblici nastave: <\/strong>1 sat predavanja, 2 sata seminara tjedno<br \/>\n<strong>Uvjeti za upis kolegija: <\/strong><em>Uvod u studij engleske knji\u017eevnosti 1 i 2<br \/>\n<\/em><strong>Okvirni sadr\u017eaj predmeta:<\/strong> Kolegij ima za cilj istra\u017eiti kulturolo\u0161ke implikacije antropocena, tj. razdoblja u kojem ljudski rod postaje geolo\u0161ka sila koja utje\u010de na biosferu, na knji\u017eevno-filmskom korpusu Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva i Australije. Polaze\u0107i od premise Timothyja Mortona da je \u010dovjek istodobno \u201edetektiv i kriminalac\u201c antropocena (<em>Dark Ecology<\/em>, 2016.), kolegij \u0107e se temeljiti na diskusiji romana, \u017eanrovski uklopivih u znanstvenu fantastiku u \u0161irem smislu, koji doprinose teku\u0107oj raspravi o prekomjernom izgaranju fosilnih goriva, globalnom zatopljenju, smanjenju biolo\u0161ke raznolikosti, globalnom rastu stanovni\u0161tva, nastanku takozvanih klimatskih izbjeglica, ukratko o \u010dovjekovu utjecaju na ekosustav. Romani na satiri\u010dan na\u010din progovaraju iz druga\u010dijih kulturnih, etni\u010dkih i rodnih pozicija te stoga pru\u017eaju druga\u010diji \u201crecept\u201d za izbjegavanje\/pre\u017eivljavanje kraja svijeta. Kolegij \u0107e tako\u0111er biti popra\u0107en odgovaraju\u0107im filmskim i dokumentarnim ostvarenjima.<br \/>\n<strong>Cilj: <\/strong>Studenti \u0107e se upoznati s problematikom novog \u201egeolo\u0161kog razdoblja\u201c i kako je ono utjecalo na proizvodnju i tuma\u010denje kulturnog proizvoda Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva i Australije.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Studentske obveze: <\/strong>ispunjavanje elemenata <u>kontinuirane provjere znanja<\/u>, koji obuhva\u0107aju redovito poha\u0111anje nastave (do 4 izostanka), provjeru \u010ditanja odabranih knji\u017eevnih djela i gledanja odabranih igranih i dokumentarnih filmova, te pisanje i pravovremena predaja kra\u0107ih pisanih radova (5 radova, od 800 do 1500 rije\u010di po radu). Radovi se predaju nakon zavr\u0161etka svake tematske cjeline.
