British Council Project Shakespeare Lives \u00a0It is our pleasure to announce a series of lectures entitled \u201cHamlet<\/em> in 1603<\/strong>\u201d by our faculty member, Dr. Vladimir Brljak<\/a><\/strong>. Dr Brljak\u2019s lectures will discuss Hamlet<\/em> in the context of early performances and editions with special emphasis on the role Hamlet<\/em> played in the religious and political controversies of the period. Dr. Brljak is currently Thole Research Fellow in English at Trinity Hall, Cambridge. Lectures are part of the global British Council Project Shakespeare Lives<\/a><\/em>, launched to mark the 400th<\/sup> anniversary of the death of the bard.
Shakespeare Lives<\/em> will run throughout 2016 and will include an unprecedented number of events and festivities in over 140 countries.
