Prvi je cilj upoznati studente s podru\u010djem povijesne sociolingvistike, u kojem znanstvenici koji istra\u017euju povijest pojedinih jezika kombiniraju\u0107i metode povijesne lingvistike s metodama sociolingvistike tako da bi rekonstruirali procese jezi\u010dnih promjena u dru\u0161tvenom kontekstu. Istra\u017eivanja u ovom podru\u010dju obi\u010dno se usredoto\u010duje na pismene tekstove koji najvi\u0161e sli\u010de govornom jeziku (npr. osobna pisma, igrokaze i sudske zapise). Drugi je cilj kolegija da studenti dobivaju iskustvo s radom na povijesno-sociolingvisti\u010dkom korpusu. Svaki \u0107e student prepisati i analizirati osobna pisma koja su pisali govornici hrvatskog jezika krajem 19. i po\u010detkom 20 stolje\u0107a. Iako je ovaj projekt prvenstveno lingvisti\u010dke prirode, zanimljiv \u0107e biti i studentima iz drugih znanstvenih podru\u010dja (povijesti, sociologije itd.), jer spomenuta pisma sadr\u017ee informaciju o svakodnevnim problemima i iskustvima obi\u010dnih ljudi koji su \u017eivjeli u Hrvatskoj prije sto i vi\u0161e godina.<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"font-size: 10pt;\"><strong>Studentske obaveze:<\/strong> ispunjavanje elemenata kontinuirane provjere znanja, koji se sastoje od redovitog poha\u0111anje nastave, provjere \u010ditanja primarne i sekundarne literature, pripreme za nastavu, pravovremene predaje jednog grupnog izvje\u0161taja i pravovremene predaje individualnog seminarskog rada. Seminarski rad \u010dini 40%, grupni izvje\u0161taj 30%, a ostali elementi kontinuirane provjere znanja 30% ocjene.
