Sociolingvistika gleda na jezik kao okvir razli\u010ditih varijeteta, ina\u010dica, kao \u0161to su dijalekt, sociolekt, registar (\u017eargon), sleng, stil \u00a0itd. te opisuje i tuma\u010di \u00a0njihovu funkciju u jezi\u010dnoj zajednici. Student se osvje\u0161\u0107uje za dru\u0161tveni\u00a0 u\u010dinak tih varijeteta, tj. kako govornik njihovom naizmjeni\u010dnom uporabom, primjerenoj razli\u010ditim situacijama i \u00a0razli\u010ditim sugovornicima,\u00a0 ostvaruje svoje namjere\u00a0 i ozna\u010duje svoj identitet. Horizontal and\u00a0 vertical view of language. \u00a0Social class, age, and gender as\u00a0 extra-lingistic element in the explanation of language varieties and\u00a0 free variants.<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-size: small;\">3. Language as a component of ethnicity. Substratum effect. Hypercorrection as a result of social pressure. African American\u00a0 Vernacular English\u00a0 and its origin.
